About twenty-five years ago a friend of mine in California asked me if I had read the Seth Material. I had not even heard of it, but she said it was worth reading, and she and I had similar interests in learning how the world worked. So I tucked that idea in the back of my mind.       Then about five years later the man who was to become my husband mentioned the Seth Material to me. He happened to have two of the Seth books, so I opened one of them and started reading. And in twenty years I haven't stopped!       The Seth books made more sense to me than anything else I had ever read. They are not easy to read, however. They were written, rather dictated, by Seth, a personality no longer in physical form, through the medium of Jane Roberts, who lived in Elmira, NY, in the 1960's, 70's, and 80's. In these nine books Seth explains how the world works. He says that we create our own reality, and he means that very literally. We create everything in our lives.       When I tell people that we create our own realities, they often object rather vehemently at first. The greatest stumbling block to believing this is a disastrous event in one's life. "Don't tell me that I created this cancer!" or "How could a child create his own death?!" they rail at me.       It isn't easy to understand, but Seth explains these things in a way that I can accept.       This web site is a collection of stories from a wide variety of Seth readers about how they have utilized Seth's ideas to create things in their own lives.       If you haven't read the Seth Material, you can go to your library or bookstore and look for books by Jane Roberts. Some of the titles are "The Seth Material," "Seth Speaks," and "The Nature of Personal Reality." All of the Seth books and other related books by Jane Roberts are listed here, along with links to other Seth web sites.       Lynda Madden Dahl, co-founder of the Seth Network International, has written several wonderful books about living with the Seth Material (Beyond the Winning Streak, The Wizards of Consciousness, Ten Thousand Whispers, and The Book of Fallacies), all of which I highly recommend as well.       Millions of readers demonstrate that there is something in this material that keeps their interest.
